* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although slightly sub-freezing temperatures are possible especially within counties north and west of the Nebraska Tri Cities, there is a little uncertainty regarding just how cold it will get. Even if some areas drop slightly below freezing, frost is expected to be the primary threat to tender vegetation, and not necessarily a true, killing freeze. That being said, given at least some potential for slightly sub-freezing temperatures, especially in northern and western counties, precautions to protect outdoor irrigation systems and hoses from possible damage might also need considered.
