The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 10 PM MDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...FIRE WEATHER ZONES 417, 418, 430, 431, 432, 433, 434, 435, 436, AND 437
* WIND...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 45 mph.
* HUMIDITY...Between 10 and 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... A few showers developing Wednesday afternoon and evening will have the potential to produce isolated lightning and gusty/erratic winds in their vicinity.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
