First Round of Snowfall Across Portions of the Interior

Cooler temperatures will allow for the first chance for snowfall accumulations. While snow could be seen in some low lying areas in and around Fairbanks, the best chance for accumulations will be at higher elevations. Snowfall accumulations from Monday night through Wednesday night are expected to be between 1" and 3". Any snow that falls in the lower elevations will be very wet and will mostly likely melt during the day with high temperatures remaining in the low 40s. close
