* WHAT...Heavy snow. Snow accumulations between 2 to 6 inches west of Highway 395, 6 to 12 inches above 8000 feet, and locally up to 24 inches across higher terrain along the Sierra crest. Winds peak along the crest gusting as high as 70 to 80 mph and up to 40 mph along Highway 395 Saturday evening.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...From Friday evening through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines.
