RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE FAR SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE, SOUTH PLAINS, AND ROLLING PLAINS

* Wind...Northeast at 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* Humidity...As low as 20 percent in the far southern Texas Panhandle. Elsewhere, values ranging from 25 to 35 percent.

* Fuels...Critically to extremely dry.
